Alina Hahn is a visual artist living in Hamburg, Germany. She graduated from the KSW Art School and later studied at the HFBK (University of Fine Arts Hamburg).

 

She worked at elementary and private schools, teaching painting and drawing classes. After several years working in the photo department of one of Germany's largest publishing houses, she returned to her own artistic practice.

 

Her paintings are abstract acrylics featuring loosely drawn lines and vibrant splashes of color, interspersed with fine-line drawings and recurring animal or house portraits. The interplay of forms and colors, with hidden small illustrations, is intended to invite contemplation and create a pleasant feeling when viewing the artwork.

Furthermore, she loves designing and creating her own patterns for soft toys and sewing them herself. Her materials are of the highest organic quality and are perfectly suited for children (Oeko-Tex certified).
